A Team Devoted to Service

Our core principles – centered on the values of trust, empowerment, accountability, and mesh – result from our shared belief that we can transform the communities we engage. TEAM is truly a way of life at GWS Hospitality.  It influences our approach to project management. It motivates us to seek new ways to build value for our clients. It inspires us to activate the communities in which we work by hiring local labor, executing charitable donations of furniture and equipment, or lending a hand – literally – by moving boxes or cleaning sidewalks.

We’re part of your team, which means that we stand behind our commitment to your project’s success – even if it means doing a little extra to make it happen.

STEVE LEWEY Senior Vice President, Hospitality Steve Lewey joined GWS in 2006 and began leading the Hospitality business unit in 2011. His experience working with all stakeholders – including owners, architects, general contractors, hospitality management firms, procurement firms, and service affiliates – has given him a unique, diverse look at the overall programming of FF&E in hospitality projects. Steve has had the opportunity to lead projects of every size - from teams of up to 80 installers, 20 movers, warehousing, and four project managers on billion dollar projects, to managing lobby renovations, to working with modularity concept projects in the U.S.

The integrated services process Steve developed has allowed GWS to lead the industry in providing hospitality capabilities, delivering communication with real-time visibility, and creating dashboards for executive look-ins to the entire chain-of-custody process. Steve’s in-depth knowledge of the rapidly expanding impact of technology on the hotel business is unique and provides significant value from planning to risk management to implementation to close-out. He works tirelessly to help our clients develop a blended solution that works within the current programming to reduce hand-offs, minimize variables, and drive cost out of the logistics, building load, and installation process.
